We’re the Pelhams — an English-Lithuanian family of five (plus two overly enthusiastic pups), now living in Lithuania. I’m Rasa, the one behind most of the writing, sourdough, sketches, and slow-living creativity you’ll find here.

What began as a one-year adventure has grown into a slower, simpler chapter we’re still happily exploring.

After leaving our busy Bedford life — the community café, sourdough bakes, craft clubs, quizzes, and all the wonderful chaos — we pressed pause and came here to breathe, reset, and make space for creativity.

We sold our beloved café (our fourth baby, really), pared life down to what fit in the car, and landed with family, ready to create for the sake of it, wander forests, and see what bubbles up when life slows down.

Pelham Adventures is where we share this chapter — the move, the mess, the magic, the dogs, the kids, and the everyday in between.

Alongside it, something new is growing: Friendly Nettle Studios, my creative home for sketches, woodland creatures, slow stories, and all the things I never had time for before.

We don’t know how long this chapter will last — maybe a year, maybe longer — but we have a feeling good things are brewing.
